SMS Terms

ThunderEx Shipment Notifications sends text messages about shipments we are already handling for your account: receipt at our warehouses, outbound dispatch, tracking and delivery updates, exceptions that need your attention, and requests for information we need in order to release, clear or deliver a shipment.

Every message in this program is transactional and relates to work in progress on your account. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program.

Messages are sent from our toll-free number, (888) 372-3588.

You can enroll in any of these ways:

• ·Fill in the sign-up form at thunderex.com/sms/signup/ — you enter the mobile number you want notifications on and tick the consent box yourself.
• ·Or give that mobile number to your ThunderEx account manager, or enter it on a ThunderEx form that asks for a shipment-notification number, and confirm that you want notifications sent to it.
• ·Or text START to (888) 372-3588 from the mobile number you want notifications on.

We enroll a number only when the person who controls it has asked us to. Consent is not a condition of any purchase and not a condition of using our services — you can decline and still receive every update by email or by phone.

Message frequency varies. It follows the shipments on your account: a quiet week produces no messages at all, and an active week can produce several messages per shipment. You are not enrolling in a fixed number of messages per month.

Message and data rates may apply. ThunderEx does not charge you for these messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you according to your plan. Check with your carrier if you are not sure what your plan includes.

Reply STOP to any message from us, or text STOP to (888) 372-3588, at any time. We will send one confirmation message and then stop sending to that number.

• ·STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT all work.
• ·After you opt out we will not send shipment texts to that number. Your shipments keep moving — we will reach you by email or by phone instead.
• ·To enroll again, text START to (888) 372-3588.

Reply HELP to any message from us, or text HELP to (888) 372-3588, and you will get a reply telling you what the program is and how to reach us.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

• ·Delivery depends on your carrier, your handset and your coverage. We cannot guarantee that any individual message arrives, or that it arrives at a particular time.
• ·Do not treat a text message as your only source for time-critical information. The record we keep on your account is the authoritative one; where a text message and our records disagree, our records govern.
• ·Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular and others. Carrier participation can change without notice.

The program is offered to business customers in the United States, on a United States mobile number, who are 18 or older. Enroll only a number that you control, or that you are authorized to enroll on behalf of your business.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we handle it. For this program the short version is: we do not sell your mobile number, and we do not share your mobile number or your text-messaging consent with any third party for that third party’s own marketing.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If you keep receiving messages after a change, you accept the updated terms; if you do not accept them, reply STOP.
