Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2, 2026
THUNDER INTERNATIONAL GROUP INC (“ThunderEx”, “we”, “us”) is a California company providing 5PL logistics, warehousing and fulfillment services between the United States and China. This policy explains what information we collect through thunderex.com and in the course of providing those services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1. Scope
This policy covers thunderex.com and the commercial services we provide to our business customers, including the shipment-notification text messages described in section 4.
Our internal warehouse tool, the ThunderEx PDA app, is covered by its own separate policy at thunderex.com/pda-privacy.html. Where a signed service agreement with a customer says something different about that customer's data, the signed agreement governs for that customer.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to answer you and to run the shipments we handle for you.
- ·Information you send us through a form. Our contact form collects your name, business email, company, phone number, the service you are asking about, and your message. Our shipment-notification sign-up form collects your company, name, business email and mobile number. Our job-application form collects your name, email, phone number, the position, your work experience and any notes you write.
- ·Mobile number and messaging consent. If you enroll in shipment notifications, we keep the mobile number, the fact that you consented, and how and when you gave that consent — because we are required to be able to show it.
- ·Account and shipment information. For customers, the information needed to receive, store, handle and ship goods: contact details for your staff, addresses, shipment and inventory records, and the documents a shipment requires.
- ·Server logs. Our web server automatically records technical data such as IP address, browser user agent and request timestamps. We use these for security and troubleshooting.
This website sets no cookies, runs no third-party analytics, and carries no advertising or tracking scripts.
3. How we use information
- ·To answer your inquiry, prepare a quote, or consider your job application.
- ·To receive, store, handle, ship and deliver goods, and to tell you what is happening with them.
- ·To send the shipment notifications you asked for, by text, email or phone.
- ·To keep the site and our systems secure, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
- ·To meet legal, customs, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
4. Text messaging and your mobile number
If you enroll in ThunderEx Shipment Notifications, we use your mobile number to send you messages about your shipments, and to answer HELP and STOP. The full program terms are on our SMS Terms page.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
You can stop the messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us, or by texting STOP to (888) 372-3588.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only in these situations:
- ·Carriers, warehouses and logistics partners — only as needed to move, store or deliver your goods, for example giving a delivery address and contact number to a trucking or parcel carrier.
- ·Customs brokers and government authorities — where a shipment requires it by law.
- ·Service providers — companies that help us run our systems, currently cloud hosting, email delivery, and the messaging platform that carries our text messages. They act on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service.
- ·Our affiliates — companies in the Thunder International Group, where they are involved in providing the service to you. Mobile numbers and messaging consent are excluded from this, as stated in section 4.
- ·Legal compliance — where required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our people, our customers or the public.
- ·Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction and continues to be handled under this policy.
6. How long we keep information
- ·Inquiries and job applications are kept as ordinary business records for as long as they are useful, and then deleted.
- ·Customer, shipment and settlement records are kept for the duration of the relationship and for the period required by tax, customs and accounting rules — we do not keep them longer than the longest applicable requirement.
- ·Mobile numbers and messaging consent are kept while you are enrolled. If you opt out, we keep a record that the number opted out, so that we do not message it again.
- ·Server logs are kept for a short operational period and then rotated out.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and restricting access to staff who need it for their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International transfers
We operate between the United States and China, and information relating to a shipment is handled in both countries where the shipment requires it. Where we transfer information across borders, we do so to provide the service you or your business has asked for, and we require our partners to protect it.
9. Your choices
- ·Text messages — reply STOP to any message, or text STOP to (888) 372-3588.
- ·Email and phone — tell your account manager, or email cscn08@thunderex.com, and we will change how we contact you.
- ·Access, correction and deletion — email cscn08@thunderex.com and tell us what you need. We will respond as required by applicable law. Where we must keep records for tax, customs or accounting reasons, we will tell you that instead of deleting them.
- ·California residents — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in the CCPA, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may exercise your rights using the same contact address; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
10. Children
Our website and our services are for businesses. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
